Other Requirements

  • Classroom training may begin anytime after the student turns 14½.
  • Students must be enrolled and at least 15½ to take the Temporary License Exam.
  • If under 18 years of age, the DOT requires that Temps must be held for a full 6 months, ticket free, prior to taking the Road Test.
